WORLD BOOK DAY CELEBRATIONS

WORLD BOOK DAY CELEBRATIONS

The International ‘World Book Day’ was celebrated at ‘The Millennium School, Mohali’. The students marked the occasion by decorating the class doors as giant book covers. The innovative style in which the students displayed their creativity was amazing. The doors were decorated as covers of the books of Roald Dahl, J.K. Rowling, Geronimo Stilton, R.L. Stine, etc. It was an exciting day since it was the first time an activity of this kind had been conducted. The outcome was spectacular.

The junior students participated in ‘Tell me a Story Contest’ and were given Story Starters to write their own stories. The stories which the children came up with were indeed enthralling.

The winners of these activities were felicitated with certificates and medals.
